We wont get any here in cardiff , I would love some snow as it's nice to wake up on christmas day and it's all white out  ;D :y

That would be a bit of a climate change !!!!

My rellies live in the south of france and just sent me pics of the frozen lake in their garden ---- looks pretty nippy -- I keep telling them to come here and live somwhere warmer!!!!

Crimbo day looks a little damp but this weekend is forecast as white - 85 to 95% chance of snow with 6 and 9mm precipitation on Sunday/Monday....  How much snow does 9mm of water create??   ;D

When was the last time we had snow on Christmas day Skruntie ?.....any ideas....I think it was 1970.....but as usual.....I could well be talking 'dangle berries'... :y :y :y :y

the 70's
i can remember sitting in a classroom in the middle of winter, with no heating
walking to work 8 miles in thick snow and the wind freezing your face as the buses couldnt leave the garages.
but you got on with it. not now, everyone stays at home as its too cold to sit in a class with rads on and you can barely see concrete for the snow, or theres leaves on the lines so the trains cant cope with it. quite sad really
