First thing they need to do is get rid of the shite courses which are not worth the paper they are written one.

My daughter has no real idea yet but an engineering, physics and maths are current contenders.

Engineering in the Uk is dying....its to easy to do abroad for less money and even china and india are now getting good.

But it is wealth creation.

One of her relatives (Sues cousins daughter so I don't think I am unless you add in-law) does engineering and has got her interested.

Anyway I don't think she would be any good at media studies

They all blended into one  :D

Was at Tesco Brackley shortly before popping to uni. I worked in the bread section. I miss the reduce gun i had, i would set everything i wanted to 5p.  ;D

Noticed its all upgraded now, and you have to log all reduced items, think they must have got wise to my earlier antics  ;D

All pre made, things that needed to be hot went in the walk in oven!

Mostly was all the pre-sealed stuff i worked on.

I can actually make sarnies, i use those Toastie bags here at work to make up one and toast it. they work quite well!

Yes the organisation in this country doesn't really have a clue.  A recent BBC news item about how far ahead britain is in wave technology showed a couple of ideas currently being worked on, as if they were new stuff. However Salter's Duck was invented way back in 1974, but the powers in the nuclear and coal fired industries killed it off, cause it could have been fairly cheap to produce compared to their prices. Britain is too choked up with layers of civil servants who do a fine job of making industry uneconomic hence it moves overseas.
