You pays your money...

"Although some people claim that the Sun and cosmic rays are responsible for climate change, measured solar activity shows no significant change in the last few decades, while global temperatures have increased significantly."
Met Office

"New measurements from a NASA satellite show a dramatic cooling in the upper atmosphere that correlates with the declining phase of the current solar cycle. For the first time, researchers can show a timely link between the Sun and the climate of Earth's thermosphere, the region above 100 km, an essential step in making accurate predictions of climate change in the high atmosphere."

"Edmonton shatters cold record
At -46.1 C, coldest city on the continent beats previous benchmark low by 10 degrees."

Did you watch Hot Planet on BBC1 .........last Wednesday Nick.....interesting....especially the parts about environmental technologies.
What is your view on carbon capture?........is it feasible?.......is it necessary?.
My understanding............... from what was said about the ice cores........is that CO2......had changed little from 280-290PPM.....for the last 650-750 thousand years until...about 1800.....when it started to climb ...............to about 387PPM which we have today......passing 300 PPM in 1960....and rising at about 2PPM.....each year....Caused by modern man???.
I enjoyed Hot Planet .....but even I did not think that it was entirely objective in it's findings...As You say ...you pays your money..................... :y :y :y

He isn't that far behind in the polls now. Once he has saved the world in Copenhagen then he can announce a snap election in a few weeks time and be back for four more years. Simples.

If he doesn't manage to save the world this month they can all go to Mexico on another mass junket and he can have another go at saving the world.
