Drax - should I take Tech2
« on: 21 March 2007, 22:27:18 »

No, I don't imagine for a minute that the Tech2 could control Drax....

But should I take it?

No you should give it a rest.  Why not send it to me to look after whilst you're away - I'll take good care of it.  :y

I voted yes, on the basic (really selfish) assumption that I may have need of it.

Car is a manual so no autobox upgrade, already got cruise (its a minifacelift anyway) but may be worth a wee plug in, just in case theres something that needs a tweek or two, without too much spannering?

OK selfish I know, but if you don't ask, you don't get....

I voted yes because I have never seen one before and I'm just interested

I voted yes because I can then get Jaime really drunk and pinch it from his hotel room!  [smiley=evil.gif]

LOL, it may be cheaper to buy one ;)

(if only, I haven't had a proper drink this year yet, so half a lager should do)

(though I did manage a few at the cambelt do, and have developed a taste for Malt - thats MikeDundee's fault)

Malt?  Who mentioned malt....   :P

Could use as an alternate currency....  :o

OK, choice time.....

What type of malt you chaps wish me to bring.  Lowland, Highland, Western, or far northern?  They are all distictly different....

No, not me being overly generous, I just have a contact or two that can get such things at a good price (quite legit!) from the bottling plant not too far from me...    ;)

Voting seems to hint that I should take it.  I've updated the price list to offer even better rates for members attending the Drax meet.  Prices are at the top of each section.

Indded they are...

I once spent a Sunday afternoon in the Theatre Royal Bar in Edinburgh with an American friend. They have every single malt produced in Scotland there.... in alphabetical order. We made it half way through "B" before falling down!  ;D

My personal faves are Macallan (12yr old really good , 24yr old beautifully smoothl but scary price!) and Laphroaig (especially the damn expensive 15yr).

LB - I have a bottle of Laphroaig quarter cask (48% proof) as well as some cask strength (57.3% proof) if any of that takes your palette....    :o
