Good idea, I've already posted a couple of times on: wheel alignment, respray and alloy wheel repair, people could rate them perhaps?  You shouldn't be guaranteeing anything by recommending a place to go - it should still all be at your own risk, just as the maintenance guides are..

Good idea. :y

Local council, Fife, has a scheme oor should that be scream, with certain local garages registered with them that will abide with certain set rules.

Also i know that Car Mechanics, magazine, also do a similar thing with readers sending in their findings. Think it would certainly help for those of us used to travelling into the nether regions in search of a holiday and having a problem with their mega.  :y

Not entirely sure how this could be usefully implemented into a forum type site....

How about a sub forum, or an updatable sticky under maintenance guides - you could title it Services for your Omega, Reccomended by Members - or something not that long?!

Believe it or not, the base forum software does not support sub forums  >:(

Ah, bit of a stumbling block there!  I would agree that it probably shouldn't have a completely seperate forum, so that doesn't leave you a lot in the way of options..

Once we get rid of Maintenence Guides and FAQs etc, then adding a couple of new sections won't be so cluttered....
