ive slipped up
« on: 28 December 2009, 20:17:09 »

mate has to go in hosp tomorrow to have a small lump cut out of his ear. i offered to take him thinking it was our local hospital, its in london and its at 7.30am. i have to pick him up at 6.15am and the op takes 10mins. why the hell nobody is capable of taking out a small cyst in a huge hospital near us is crazy.  :-? :-?

my local hospital now has very limited baby delivery services as in if its not totally natural you have to go 15 mile away and a baby died last year because of a slight complication and nobody there could deal with it and the transfer to the other hospital took too long,i think thats how it was

ive had my sinuses drained 5 times which involved cutting open under the eye and inserting a drainage tube into my forehead for 6 months. 3 different hospitals. same consultant. my local spent 17m  3 years ago refurbishing it now its going being knocked down and rebuilt.

its all tax fiddles if you ask me and budgets,my local council starts digging loads of random holes in the roads at the end of their tax year cos if they havent spent their budget they get less the year after so it goes to show they dont use all the money they take for the shitty roads by me and what could be used to make em a bit better goes towards making em worse

I waited till I got out here to have my cyst removed. Private hospital across the road, next day surgery and signed off for 2 days.

I've now got to pluck up the courage to have a tooth extracted.

You definitely don't want to have a heart attack if you live in central or coastal Suffolk.  Instead of making use of the perfectly well equipped and staffed Cardiology department at Ipswich Hospital, everyone is now being taken by ambulance to Addenbrookes on the other side of Cambridge.  About 70 minutes by Omega on a clear day, of which there aren't very many on the A14. :( :( :(

Well, it is a mate and you're doing him a massive favour. So what goes around comes around, hopefully your turn will come.  :y

Why not go for a "one visit" treatment session?

I know exactly what you mean. I've been plucking the courage up since January when my filling came out. Apparently I've a big hole in my wisdom tooth thats quite close to a nerve. I'm just waiting till I'm in agony.
