Oil and water
« on: 23 March 2007, 21:47:21 »

As the forums quiet I've just been having a read through some posts. It notice quite a few people talking about "when I top up with coolant or oil". I have never had to do this. The coolant level never drops and the oil always looks 'new' and golden coloured. Admittedly, I've only owned the car 10 months and covered 10000 miles but I do feel as if something "bad" has got to happen soon :(

I don't bother checking the oil or coolant.  I'm often getting a low coolant warning, but I ignore that.  :P

You sure you own an omega??   ;D

My Coolant light is on all the time....due to knackered sensor....tho it does leak a bit....but i suspect lpg conversion is causing that....

Oil....yes it likes it....might try Tesco's economy range....it might stop drinking so much then  ;D

And when it does happen, I'm sure many of us will be there to assist you...

But then.... you don't like me being nice, do you ;) :)

Seriously... if it went tits up I would help... but it seems like yours is sorted at the mo!

10 months... I'd do an oil+filter change, also give consideration to when plugs were done, and fuel/air filter.. the routine maintenance goes heck of a long way.. :)
