R.I.P

R.I.P our local, it's now official that the current tenure ends at the close of business this coming thursday night.

It's not really a surprise as such, the current tenants were caught (for the 4th time) buying "out of tie" back in November, but they did manage to blag the brewery long enough to keep it running till now.

We are guessing it will still remain open as a "scouting" party made themselves known to us tonight (3 kids aged no more than 22 on a good day), and I'm guessing they won't be under any illusions as to how the pub works - at least not after witnessing 2 certified mental patients using an axe to make firewood from the pub tables, as well as every single last person lighting a ciggy whenever they felt like it and using the ashtrays provided.

According to them, they know what they are doing because they have a pub in Richmond.
No-one has told them that Richmond & the Shot are a country mile apart in the way things are done though  ;D ;D

Still, If they do take it on then they can't claim they didn't know what they were buying in to when it gets too much for the little darlings  ;D ;D

If it's taking loads of cash, in the present climate, then the odd misdemeanor should be overlooked. ;D

Sorry to hear that, especially if they were that accommodating. :'(

I know a way of bypassing the meters in the cellar and Brains knew I was doing it, and told me to keep it to myself, which I did, and they left me alone.
