I had a Renault 5 Turbo II back in 88/89, and rest assured that almost 200BHP in a car that small was something to have respect for  ;)

Also had a Firebird in the mid nineties.
Nice in a straight line, but don't think about cornering at what any reasonable person would deem as "speed".....it simply wasn't happening.

Had the same problem with mine with the standard tyres on, trans am'ss/firebirds were no different, just needed wider LP's on.  Mine handled like a go kart after that. :y
