Another thing worthwhile looking at for remote control of another PC is Microsoft Mesh.

http://www.mesh.com

Its primarily a sync tool, but does offer remote desktop to ALL Windows (XP upwards), not matter where you are in the world. And its firewall/NAT friendly

XP Home doesn't have Remote Desktop (without hacking).

In that case then I reckon it's XP hope.  So it's looking like it's been remotely installed if that is possible as it is not something she has even used or has ever seen from what she has said.

She has also bought an Orange 3G dongle, so she will then have a new provider, with new email account on a freshly loaded PC, shame the dongle didnt work as it was installed, not reconising the sim.

In the meantime I bought a netgear dongle from ebuyer for £17 with some other bits, ordered at 4pm yesterday on a supersaver, arrived this morning at 8.10am via parcel force.   :y  So will have some fun with that on her PC as well.

ebuyer is my main choice for PC gear too, and its always ordered on super saver. Its classed as 5 working days, but 90% of the time its next day!

Have fun!

TBH Tunnie they went through a bad patch a few years ago and I stopped using them, but since they had a reshuffle and added the white goods etc they have been fine, all orders are pretty quick these days just depends on the back log.

Placed an order with Aria yesterday as well, new graphics card and other bits and that cost £7.95 delivery (Hsittylink) so will be interesting when that turns up.

The client exists on Home, but the 'server' side doesn't. Without hacking.

Whats up now, I had moved away from Asus years ago as I thought thier boards were slow, Having bought a board as you seemed to be saying good things about them I thought I would by the same brand regards the Radeon.
  ::)
Asus viseo cards have allways performed well and never let me down.  8-)

Have i missed something somewhere.

My appologies in that case, thought you had.

Am giving them a go anyway, if I dont get on with them it's easy to offload and get something different.
