I have 2 posties here they 2 3 days each and are great, my last place the lady postie was superb and went completely out of her way to help me.

Sadly there are the odd 1 or 2 % that spoil it.  I have had a  small box force fed through the letter box and the calling card thing happened a few times even when I was sat at the window next to the door.

As I say, it's just the odd one that spoils it for the rest and gives the service a bad name.

I also have a mate who is an ex postie and mentioned the things they did to help others.  and he reckons they shouldnt be taking on casual agaency workers unless they have certain training which the program seemed to suggest they just dont care anymore.

unfortunately, you normally only ever hear about bad posties, no one bitches to everyone who will listen that their postie is great, although to throw a spanner in the works, our current one is good - he breaks the rules to provide a service that the customers want
