You have to eat a 'proper' black pudding, not the sliced up sausage type you get on a breakfast ..... just ignore what they're made of though  ::)  ::)  :y  :y  :y

Love the stuff! My local butcher" Houstons" has won awards for his. Even had Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall up here a while ago trying to steal his secrets.

I don't know how they get away with serving kebabs,  warm it up, let it cool down, warm it up let it cool down, etc etc etc. It's a pathagenic bacterias idea of heaven  :o

Exactly Tony, but many of the same folk who won't touch Haggis or black pudding "coz of what's in it" eat kebabs & ready meals...ignorance is bliss! ::)

Thats probably because when you get out of a club at stupid o'clock in the morning after a skinful of ale you would eat anything  :o

Or any of the big brand freezer shop ready meals etc. I've seen what goes into the main brand salad cream, ketchup slimmer soups & more. I just eat what i like anyway, you'd have to srarve yourself to avoid it. Fresh veggies are a safe bet. :y

Agreed Guy if you want to know what you are really eating you've got to prepare your food from basic ingredients, the trouble is that food producers are cashing in on the fact that a lot of people are time poor now or don't know how to cook :(

FYI, you can get vegetarian haggis.  I tried it - quite liked it.   :)
