I remember seeing that can`t think of the name but
iirc it was shown as a police camera action special

as it happened in late 80`s early 90`s choppers were few and far and would have taken too long to organise

bloody hell my memory must be better than i thought

i`m off for a lie down now ;D ;D ;D

I have seen this series of clips a number of times now and it still impresses me as much now as when I first aspired to such high stature.....

As per the clip, I subsequently made a point, whether in the driving seat or riding shotgun, to aknowledge the other drivers who allowed free and unimpeded passage due to the presence of blues and two's - or, in moderm parlance, millions of LED's and a cacophany of white noise...  ;D

Standards boy, standards....  as a Ye Olde driving instructor was oft quoted...   ;D

I remember this as 'The Blood Run' I bow to H21 :y
I saw this on Video in 1991 ish, was shown by the Met Police to a Meeting of IAM Drivers when I lived in Hertfordshire, came across it on U Tube a couple of years ago, I specifically remember the 'hand signal' to a truck driver who had not noticed the two cars behind him ::) ::) ::)
