fu@!%^*!ing Novel Client for Windows, what bl00dy moron in our IT Dept thought that would be a good idea, piece of feking crap, makes an intel duel core2 duo 2.4 Ghz machine with 3GB ram run like a sack of sh!t  >:(

 ...... and again please in English ......  :-/   ::)  ::)

He's late for a deadline and his computer connection to work is slow  ;D ;D

Chin up tunnie  :y

No, just booting it up to transfer some TV shows i downloaded to watch at work  ::)  ;D

Novel crap sits there hunting for all the stuff it can't find cause i am not on the corporate network, does not help i am constantly running out of drive letters as i have so many mapped  :(

this can bring down any type of cpu and hardware on its knees..

Using ALL the letters of the alphabet, still need more, then i have to unassign some, when i want to plug a flash drive in.  :(

@echo off
net use f: /delete
net use f: \\server\share

if you are not accessing them frequently..

Good idea that, could keep one drive assigned for such use :)

I'll give that a whirl, usualy i got into CP, Computer Management, Disk Management and see whats assigned to what

some ready seperate batches on desktop will solve that issue imho :y

try workstation only logon ;)

Oh i do tick that box.... but still takes about 5 minutes to log in  :o
That's probably because Windoze is trying to map the drives then.  If the login script was doing it then ticking "W/S Only" would stop it.

I use NW Client every day with no untoward effects.
