Well lets just say the average donation was 10p

That's disgraceful   :-?

lol, well it paid for the fuel.....and was a good publicity exercise plus gave some staff training

So c'mon Mark - what's the score bud?
 :)

150 quid....

And I was not there, I was observing some large fossil fueled immersion heaters down the road at loughborough

Are these people having a laugh or what? >:(

Average donation of 10p???

FFS, what's wrong with people >:( >:(

They look after no.1 and don't think any further on the whole, unfortunately. >:(

It doesn't take much to consider what the value of a freebie is, and to contribute accordingly. :(

Kevin

True, unfortunately :'( :'(

I give a lot to charity both financially and physically with my time/effort and can't wrap my head around anyone who thinks 10p is a good donation :o :o :o

Christ, I gave the taxi driver a bigger tip than that last week after he'd charged me £8.40 for a journey ::) ::) ;D

Railwayman's jargon mate:
A class 20 diesel and a class 73 electro-diesel at each end with a line-up of carriages sandwiched in between.

Simples! :y

Unfortunately this is the average donation, most people probably didn't donate anything at all. The ones that did donate would have given a couple of quid, I would have thought - just not that many of them  >:(
