Since last summer only had 1 week off over Christmas and that was spent entertaining family, thus not really time off.  It's monday, I'm having a few beers, wathing TV and I have bangers n mash ready to make once the wife wakes up

i was planning to go to the Alps during my next 2.5 weeks off, but mate was going to go with has had an expensive split from his gf, so instead i am LPG'ing the 2.2..... not quite the Alps, but will good news on the wallet for future Alpine trips

Hemel is nice, much newer than MK, snow is soft, no huge patches of ice.

Gear is expensive, my board (Signal OG Wide) was £325, got some Vans snowboard boots which have Boa system. (metal laces on rotary dial)

Trouble is with Hemel, is about 4/5 turns and your at the bottom, and often someone gets in your way
