External Hard Drive.
« on: 04 April 2010, 19:47:19 »

I have a 500gb external that is almost full with my collection of movies and tv programmes, so I am goona have to buy another quite soon, I am looking to get a 1TB one, now all my USB ports are used up, is there any way I can get a plug of some sort whwere is one in two out, so plug into USB port, and then that will give me extra USB port, if this makes any sense, or can I get more ports fitted, or am I stuffed.
D.
TIA

I like the look of this, do I simply plug this into a USB Port and that gives me an extra 7 ports?
I am not up on all these gadgets.
Thanks CEM

Or even something like this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Card-reader-Hubs-USB-SDHC-MS-combo-for-netbook-n120-dv2_W0QQitemZ200405163070QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_NetworkingHubs_RL?hash=item2ea9141c3e

Now this looks more like it, I just power this up, plug into a USB port and I am away, is that correct?
The port my current External is in will take this gadget and then I plug my current External and any new external I buy into this is that correct?

Thay make all sorts of USB adaptations, seen the flexi lights, and there are even vibrating pads, god knows what use they have.
