my personal favourite theory is the "terrorist Nuclear device aboard a plane, they just don't know which one! so the lot are grounded"(presumably nuclear weapons are far less dangerous on the ground?)

As has been alluded to elsewhere, they will suddenly "discover" that climate change has gone into reverse this week  ergo: it's definitely our fault
