There used to be a wooden Lotus 7 on display in a furniture shop not far from here.

Personally, I wouldn't drive that unless they showed me a nice bit of proper metal stopping that V8 coming through the bulkhead if I hit something. :o

In the the 70's there was a show room in Bramley where they sold lotus. marcus,masserati, they werent a dealership but we used to drool in the showroom windows on our way home from school.

Then in Rotherham there was another showroom selling the same sort of stuff. and one day they had a 3000gt marcus for sale, £1750 I think it was at the time, was seriously considering buying it, but bought a house instead.
