I do have to laugh, kids are kids and they will always try it on. Its in there nature and it was all of our nature as well in one point in time. He got home safe thats really the only part that matters. I would go out at any time of the night to help any body. Thats just me but i know alot of people are different

hitched a lift, blagged his way, hidden in the toilets....... it's all part of growing up.  Happened to me a couple of times when I was a kid, and was even deliberately put in a similar situation once as a leadership test.  Parents were defo the last resort because I knew I would pay dearly!  ;D ;D

But you was there to get him out the brown stuff and hopefully when he has kids he will do the same. At the end of the days mum and dad are there to guide and help there children. So you make him get a job and pay back the money lesson learned. Its all a part of growing up and can you honestly say you have never been stuck and ask some one to help you. At least he knows he can rely on you when he needs you.
