Liars in Poole
« on: 20 May 2010, 13:46:27 »

I went all the way to Poole yesterday to buy a car for my son and it was a bad un, not a wreck, but the twerp fibbed. He said bodywork was all good and leather was unmarked. In truth bodywork had had a rearend bump badly repaired to the point the bumper was out on one side by 1/8th inch. Leather was all scabby in numerous places.
Cost me £80 in train fares, and £20 taxi from station and back.
What a waste of a day and £120, well I had to eat.
Hmmm, maybe I should not eat, need to lose a few Stone.
But on the brighter side, Poole was a lovely place liked the Lake very much. And Asda must have the only truely SEAFRONT store in the UK, any closer and it would be in the drink.
Very nice place.

Hi,I know the feeling, when I was looking for my first mig,! came up on e bay in Maidstone,e mailed the guy no dinks no scab just a nice clean V reg cdx.
Next day drove down there with my mate, only to find the roughest looking mig I,ve ever seen, and he was a dealer trading from his house.
So a wasted day,and around £60 for fuel,I was not a happy chappie.
