oil cooler sealant
« on: 19 April 2007, 11:03:03 »

Anyone here just now that knows how to use it,

Ive got the real stuf from vauxhall and opened it for the first time today..its not exctly ooozing out the hard plastic tin. And i cant squeeze it out either....was thinking of just busting the tube open and using it from there....

no instructions on the tube...oh but it does say " warning this product contains a substance known to the state of california to increase cancer and birth defects"  :o :o :o

Anyone?

Can't help with your query but....

That's just the usual over-zealous, litigation-obsessed way of covering their asses in Cali. Every petrol station has some warning about how the vapours cause respiratory defects and cancer; likewise if you go into a hotel which has smoking rooms there'll usually be a sign in the corridor stating that tobacco smoke is know to the state to cause blah blah blah ::)

Oh and "objects in the rear view mirror may be closer than they appear" really does exist on the driver's side wing mirror of almost all cars in the US!

I don't recall any problems - just put the tube in a sealant gun, and applied. I do not recall any issues...
