Photobucket Issue?
« on: 03 June 2010, 23:50:04 »

Right, here I am trying to get pictures that I've put onto photobucket previously from a different computer onto the computer I'm on now. So for example trying to save an image off of photobucket to my machine no matter what way I do it, it will not work properly  >:(

The issue is I can post say for example this picture here fine:

But when I try and save this onto my computer it is all squashed, and you get nothing but half an image through the screen. This is what it shows:

But then setting the squashed image as desktop background it shows the whole screen and image fine?

Anyone have any ideas?

when you are in photobucket, bring it to original size

(click on it), then right click choose copy

then paste into paintbrush or similiar and save as jpg :y

and some extra info,

some web sites dont permit you to right click and copy the picture in that case you can take a screen snapshot with pressing control and printscreen keys at the same time .. then paste this into paintbrush and cut from it.. :y

i personally hate photobucket, i use dropbox. Imagine it as a USB disc online. You put some very small software on your PC/Mac/Laptop, sign in and you can access those files on any computer, anywhere (as long as you have software installed)

Right click and easily copy the public URL, can be used for files, anything not just pictures  :)
