The Grace Spitfire
« on: 06 June 2010, 15:53:54 »

Caroline Grace is as we speak doing a display in her Spitfire right over the top of our house.
Its the village fete today, and probably due to the fact that the chosen charity is Help for Heroes, and the fact that Ms Grace is from somewhere around these parts, I guess she has voluteered her services.
The sight and sound is magnificent, she is flying so low Im getting concerned about the chimney stack, not to mention  whats left of my eardrums. :) 8-)

Had her 11 year old son in the car with my son many years ago, took them to a fishing lake on our local airfield. This young lad was blethering on about how his mummy was going to be keeping her Spitfire there. I thought he was a little boy who lived in a fantasy world. Found out a year or so later that he wasnt lying. ::) :D
He now flies the Spitfire as well.
