Omega's rule in Dorset !!!!
« on: 06 July 2010, 09:47:34 »

I have just returned from 3 weeks in Dorset  :y  and noticed more Omega's in that time than I have ever seen around here (High Wycombe)  :( Never saw any on the way down, until...............
First one was on A31 Ferndown, then an ex plod job at Wimborme Market. A saloon and an estate on the same campsite as me (Wareham Forest Tourist Park). Another Estate at Tyneham Village. Others at...Weymouth (3), Lyme Regis, Lymington, a few in Poole, Sandbanks Ferry, Corfe (2), Bournemouth (3) and others on various roads.  :)
I appreciate some are 'holiday' jobs, so I assume all Omega's are programmed to head for Dorset in the summer.
Strangely, to confirm.... the last one I saw was yesterday on the way back....on the A31 Cadnam area...then it was like turning off a tap....not seen another since !!!!!!   :(
As I said earlier the only ones I have seen around are miles away ie: TB's pair and a green Estate in Banbury. !!!!!!

Thanks Kevin,

Not going to happen this time I'm afraid, although we must come down and spend some time not doing Omega/LPG stuff ::)

SWMBO is working in Hoddesdon on Friday and then we're heading straight on to some friends near Dorchester before heading to Plymouth for a charity function on Saturday evening. Then we need to head straight back on Sunday as she's working Monday morning.

We will take you up on that offer at some point though :y :y

Unfortunately, Mick, I can't answer that one.
Being new to Omega's, they all look the same to me  ;D ;D

Going back to Vamps' remark....I tend to think of us as 'affluent' rather than old.  :y
Lets face it....you need a few bob to run one of these monsters  ;D ;D ;D My local garage has now added me to their Christmas card list  ;D ;D
Also you need a few bob in the pocket to reside in Dorset  :'(
