It makes me laugh when someone purports a car to be a former Police Demonstrator/Accident Investigator/Senior Officer vehicle and thus, one step away from pristine!

i bought mine for the following reasons:
1. it was white,
2. it was less than 5 years old,
3. it had a full history printout, (99k was a bonus),
4. it met all of my councils' taxi requirements.
5. 0. i was dammed if iwas going to buy a skoda like most every other cabbie in europe  :D
the fact that it was an accident investigation car, rather than a traffic car just means that it was less likely to have been used to drag a stranded artic on to the hard shoulder. which, btw, is why i would never buy an ex-plod rangie or landie :o
sometimes wish that owning a mig was a bit less stressful, :-/ but that's not why we do it :)

After being forced too work on a night off i drove the boss"s van 12 miles in 2nd gear...bouncing around 45 ish i believe in the vain effort the engine would explode.

Oh and boss was a very naughty man when silly things like insurance and tax was needed....hence the naughty attitude too van. >:(

My Volvo (truck) is in for test On Wed. I'm presently driving a Scania (YUK) Not only are the gears back to fron but the synchro i shot on 1st & 4th position which just happens to be where you go from high to low box & vice versa. When i get it right.... 8-)....when i don't it plays tunes.
Suffice to say approaching roundabouts can be a tad colourfu!!!!! ::)
