Sorry........
There is no such thing as a free lunch, and if something seems too good to be true, it probably is'nt.

Corporate 'dangle berries' with loopholes as big as craters, methinks.

given their current financial situation, i find that hard to believe that a Vectra bought now, will still be in Warrenty in 15 years time?  :-/
I think you'd be hard pressed to buy a new Vectra now ;)

Oh no, its a very different car.  The Insignia can even do corners to an extent (mainly because the interesting ones are 4wd

Shame they have nothing I would fancy buying from new

have i missed something or is the vxr8 no longer available? :-/
with a 100k warranty, i could run one for 18 months instead of a year. makes it cheaper to buy. :y

theory goes like this:
if you buy a car, (may apply to other stuff too?), on hp then once you've repaid at least half of the amount borrowed and have taken reasonable care of the car (other stuff), then you can return without prejudice.
most cars leave the factory with a 1 or 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. once the time is up they mostly revert to 60k for the remaining period. this is pants if you are doing 65k-70k a year. :(
combine the two things, buy the car over a period of twice the unlimited mileage warranty, then once you've driven it into the ground and paid for half of it, just ring the finance company and give the car back. ;)
incidently, negative equity is apparantly a valid reason to return a car. ::) which is nice 8-)

There was a theory once that if a product broke then it's lifetime ended....along with the warranty. :D
