I've just come back from Cornwall.  There aren't any pirates there.

In fact, during the best part of a week we were there, I only encountered 3 people with a noticeable, or even detectable, Cornish accent.  Two of them were the blokes checking the tickets at at a tin mine, and the other one was a checkout lady in Morrisons in Penzance. 

Everyone else (except for the Germans and the Dutch, who seemed to form the majority of the transient population) sounded like they came from the Home Counties.   

And I didn't see a single Cornish Piskie.  Whatever happened to them?

And I never got round to trying a genuine pasty.

cornwall is lovely loads of locals ard fine.not that many omegas though nice 2.6CD in helford area

you were in the wrong place martin,I know of four (five if you include mine) that are less than a half mile from my workshop which is at rame

There are some Omegas in Cornwall. Not sure about Cornish people though, being Scottish and having lived here for 5 years - I don't know that many actual Cornish folks.
