I'm doing scampi. Wife likes hers with salad, I have mine with chips and a tartare sauce dip. No great loss to me.  ;D
Tell her she can have scampi, or scampi and chips. Her choice ;D

Keep some ice in the fridge to help with the swelling though.

Well it's a chilly 20 in my backyard right now, whereas 2 nights ago at this time it was 32!  ::)

I've slept in the cellar for the last couple of nights on a camp bed as it was 10 degrees cooler than my bedroom, so I might venture back upstairs tonight.  :-\  ;D

This black box in the roof helps today, Omega is good for towing.

Solifer Artic 560 has a good reputation for winter insulation. Aircon for summer (which I’m guessing you added) and ALDE central heating for winter.  :y
As you say, the Omega is an excellent tow car.  :y

I heard that the wealthy can use their wine collections as collateral when they want to borrow cash from Coutts & Co (other private banks are available) for their property investments or other speculative adventures.  :y

I bloody went and drank mine!  :-\    ::)    ;D

Many moons ago , on one of my key birthdays we went to a posh hotel in the Cotswolds. We elected to have Chateau neuf  de Pape. Only a half bottle at 28 quid.

Along comes the sommelier , opens the bottle and pours and examines and then DRANK some of my wine. ;D

How times change Here in Spain, you can have a very palatable bottle of wine for 10 euros with your meal for about 12 of your Squids. In fact if you have a three course meal with bread and a drink most places here bring you a bottle of wine and a bottle of lemonade and you help yourself . Total price about 13 euros
