BMW insurance repair.
« on: 06 September 2010, 12:53:34 »

Went and got the quotes sorted today, going to be having bumper and mirror painted, 2 new alloys, 2 new tyres, 4 wheel alignment and whatever is knocking underneath replaced, alloys are going to cost £1100 for the pair, bumper £400 to be painted, mirror £90, £200 ish for tyres, alignment not cheap, whatever is knocking not cheap either.  So all in all a very expensive insurance job, dealt with the same bloke as before, very nice fella, he makes me laugh, I said what will you do with the wheels, he said return or new, I said new, new alloys then he said ;D

He also put BMW's accident management team in touch with me, they're ringing at half one, if they think I can win the case then, they'll pay out for all the work and give me courtesy car if required, no need for me to have one though. So it's all going to go well touch wood.

I am very glad for you Del that, touch wood, all is going to be sorted.

As usual though with this type of accident it is all the hassle you have to put up with afterwards! :( :(
