Been considering one for ages.

Checked out the specs at the start of the week  and decided to go for one of these.

Had a play with it and set my preferances, am very happy with it so far and love the new 5" screen.

Yes Steve, I am.  But when I do go out I aim for derbyshire and like to go as the sun rises and take my camera as there is some wonderfull wildlife to capture as pictures. plus derwent vally, lady bower reservoir etc.  I then just tootle off following/aiming anything I can see at a distance and aim for it.  So with the tomtom it doesnt matter where i end up, it's then just the easiest way home, plus I have a mate in oldham who has just had a heart attack and I have never been to his house, if the sat nav said I was say an hour from his home I would pop over.

Just handy to have and far superior to the car sat nav.

Aye...though you said you dont go out much 


That 5" screen will come in handy with your failing eyesight though 

Good theory, but simply easier to read at a glance if in trafic or travelling at speed.
