Fantastic! 3150 miles in 11 Days

The Swiss scenery was stunning and the San Gotthard Tunnel is awesome... 17km Long

Average economy over the entire trip (according to Trip Computer which is spot on for Petrol consumption) 30.5mpg. Lower than I was expecting but considering the car cruised at between 80 and 100+ for 4 solid days (about 45 hours) I can't complain, especially when you take into account the massive hills

Car was superbly behaved... Didn't use a drop of oil or coolant but did have a temper tantrum on the last night and the morning of departure with 2 flat batteries

Handbrake stuck on when I had to use it but climbing underneath and a quick tug on the cables soon sorted it... My own fault as I didn't get around to servicing it

Only downside is I need a new exhaust... It's snapped one of the pipes into the rear box Hmmm.... Eternal or full Stainless system :-/

Oh... And I did think I'd warped a disk but now think it's just a case of wheel balancing weights having vibrated loose on the abysmal road surface!

I haven't done the sums yet but we used less than 9 tanks of LPG which is considerably fewer than the 12 I was expecting to use Can say though that my car will do 360+ miles to the tank on a fast, hilly cruise

Would I do it again... Yes. Tomorrow
