Not sure where i'd start. Probably with a dustpan & brush. In one pic you can see where the radius arm has pulled away knocking the rear tracking out a tad!!!!

My thoughts exactly. The only thing worth a light is the id. Not hard to "age" your Mini & declare the original permanently scrapped. Not an uncommon practice amongst Landy owners either. I know it's a tad naughty but we get "legally" shafted every which way so is it morally so bad? ::)

P.S. Plus the government moved the goalposts on tax exemption. T'was originally 25 yrs. old so even an 80's cortina etc would be exempt now but they moved it to 31st Dec. 1972 so your 80's car will never catch up now. No wonder we claw a bit back where we can. Greedy so & so's!!! >:(

Drove around for three years in my 1973 MGB Roadster without a tax disc in it till someone pointed out it needed a NIL tax disc. So i went to my local DVLA centre and got told the above. :D :D

If your car is registered early 1973 but you can prove it was manufactured in 1972 you can still get free bees wax.
Otherwise i believe the guiness beer mat & bent coat hanger ariel still qualify...if not they damn well should! 8-)
