Washing a car, is like making love to a beautiful woman.  caress the bodywork. Breathe softly and gently. And give every inch of it your loving attention. And make sure you've got a nice wet sponge.

12 Years...

Ford Orion 1.6 - Complete POS purchased from the dodgiest 2nd hand car dealer in Swindon
VW Polo 1.0 - Complete Wreck - Loaned by the dodgiest 2nd hand car dealer in Swindon when he carried out the necessary rectification work on the Orion when it failed its MOT on 13 points (2 weeks after being sold with full 12 month MOT)...
Ford Sierra Saphire 1.8 - Old, basic and worn out, but...  Drove very well and did me well, missed it when I sold it.
Peugeot 309 1.3 - Actually drove very nicely and I don't have a bad word for it..
Ford Mondeo Saloon 1.8 TD- Again a car I enjoyed very much, had some wonderful memories of the car until its untimely demise when the Cam Belt tesioner failed...
Toyota Avensis 1.8 - Company car poorly maintained, uncomfortable and thrashed...  Boring Drive too...
Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 DI - It drove comfortably enough, and went reasonable well, but, I personally never took to it, despite having some nice memories of the travels made within...  Rolled 1 mile backwards down a road on Anglesey after Green Flag determined they had "sorted" its problem...
BMW 316i - Short term replacement for the Vectra, Loved driving the car, drove beautifully, until the rear suspension went pair shaped, leaving me driving the car sideways for 50 yards after leaving a roundabout onto a dual carraigeway...
Vauxhall Omega 2.5TD - Current car, which is my favourite of all the cars I have had and driven...

Try a 328i.(manual of course) 50 yards sideways out of a roundabout is an everage day! ;D
