Hamilton and Button may not have had a great day, but young Bradley Smith(from Oxford) won the 125 Grand Prix in Spain today. :y
In the big class, Lorenzo effectively crashed/ fell off on the 2nd lap. He then sort of fell back on the bike, had a wobble, carried on, overtook those in front of him and went on to win the race. Better than a whole season of F1. ;) :)
Worth watching the repeat, whenever they show it. :y

Retained control is rather kind I feel.  He shoved his bike into a gap that was not there against a bloke who is known to be a bit of a determined rider and was very lucky to stand the bike back up.  I think for a second he thought it was BTCC.  I don't like the bloke but he must get credit for getting his head down and taking it to the front.

The commentators reckoned that Simoncelli was kind to Rossi 'cos they're friends - I think the difference was that Rossi's bike was in clear view (i.e. ahead) when Sim was going for the apex.

A lot of good racing there. :y

Living 20m from Oxford, you would expect that to be on local news. No. We get Mrs Smith from Southampton dropped a stitch whilst knitting.
