TalkTalk yet again,
« on: 06 December 2010, 16:58:16 »

Yes its happened, stuffed by TalkTalk, they helped themselves to£12 more than they should have, out of my bank account DD.
Their accounts advisors will tell you anything, mostly of what you to hear, just to get rid of you.
Do anybody know how to get past the clones, and get to speak to anybody that can actually correct things.

Anyway my contract is up in 4 months.

Did they bill you £12 extra or did they take £12 more than they billed you?  There is a big difference.  If the latter then you can speak to your bank under the DD Garantee, they will reimburse you on the spot and compensate  :y

If the former then you will have to fight it with them  :(

They were supposed to amended my bill of £30 down to £6.99, by way of credits to my account, last month they charged me £18 for calls, they had changed my call plan from anytime to essentials, which is free evening + weekends which is bloodly useless for me as I'am away most weekends in my tin shed, and I usually don't phone anybody evening time,as I hate anyone phoning me at night time.

I lost my rag with talktalk a few weeks ago.....
I was with Tiscali, that TT took over, TT upped the price....which i could deal with.....but the 'straw that broke the camels back' was they suspended my email account for a week......then eventually admitted it was their fault.....and offered me a month free as compensation....im now with another ISP  ;)
