The law of sod....
« on: 16 December 2010, 15:35:22 »

No sign here yet of the next batch of snow, but it is freezing quite hard.

Just spent best part of an hour outside with a sledgehammer, bashing the compacted ice outside the house and clearing it away so that the next snow load settles on tarmac and not a couple of inches of ice.

Then the council JCB turns up and does the roadway infront of everyone elses house (and mine, to be fair) and loads it all into a waggon and taken away to be dumped.

Oh well, at least I got a bit of exercise and a sweat on!!    ;D

Yes, to be fair.  Its like going for a walk on the hills.  A slow daunder which does not get you out of breath is of no use.  You have to make your system work a bit, just making sure that its not overdone.

Ultimately, the heart is another muscle and does need worked out once and a while...   :)

Hi B. Took the Cortina to work today but given the freezies  decided to take the Beastie tomorrow. Took forever to open the door. Had to open the n/s rear & thump the drivers door from inside & she was only moved from the garage this afternoon.
Foreseeing morning problems i've left her unlocked with the door on half catch... Forewarned.........etc.
