Traffic webcams

Pick an area, pick a motorway, pick a camera. Might come in handy ...? Certainly more use than the traffic reports round here, although there are some missing.

I fully intend to check for snow at least before setting off. Not tried it on the mobile yet though.

Orange had a similar mobile only app about 5 years ago, but it was totally unreliable. Traffic tv I think it was called.

I used to use those all the time when my route was Chertsey-M25-M4-Slough, very handy indeed :)

A real pity they aren't real time instead of a still from a couple of minutes prior :(
