FIFA union is asking for it to be switched to the winter as the midday temperature will be around 50 degrees. it is not possible. they play during the summer when clubs have no commitment due to all games being finished for the summer period. fifa know it is not possible to stage a world cup during the winter so what the break was they thinking when they awarded it to qatar.

we just played a WC in winter in S Africa, FIFA would just ask all associations in the northern hemisphere to have a 3 month winter break.

as to what FIFA were thinking awarding the WC to Qatar in the first place - one word - money  :y
