The TD Chips sold through this Site seem to do what it says on the tin.

Contact TheBoy through PM.

Hi Tim.

You can choose your chip, I went for the +7 first which was good, no noticable smoke, a good increase in power and better MPG but you won't notice the MPG at first because you'll keep thrashing it ;D
A little while later I had the +10 chip which is the most powerful but you do get black smoke mostly in 3rd gear when your sending it. I haven't rolling roaded mine yet because I still have a few more bits to do but you have to be careful in the wet bacause it will spin the wheels in 3rd gear ;D

BMW's standard output spec for the M5ID is 143 BHP.
So, a 'Plus 5' chip adds a further 5% - so we're looking at a tad over 150 BHP.
 :y

M51D was derated to 128 BHP for the Omega.

Ok,so i'd be looking at 20+ hp over my present engine hp,with increased torque as well i guess,i bought this car for towing so this will help,i don't want to go too mad because i don't want stress the clutch too much, the car has 120k on it,so maybe the clutch will be due sometime in the future.I've been quoted £270 to supply a QH kit including the  hydraulic release bearing.
