Next Doors Cat!!
« on: 05 January 2011, 14:23:38 »

He keeps killing the birds around here and taking them back to his house.... so they have bought him a bell to apparently frighten them off......

Well I have just stood at the window in disbelief.. the little bugger was limping so I thought he was hurt, then realised he was actually holding the bell with one paw!!

That is brilliant, made me smile.

We had a deaf cat when I was a kid, and he had a bell to stop him killing birds.  Hilarious watching him continuously fail to kill so much as a pebble and not have a clue why.  ;D

It must be me then ... because believe this or not my Grandad used to have racing pigeons, he eventually sold them for hens, but one of these pigeons kept coming back. So Grandad kept phoning the bloke who clipped its wings to stop him flying far I think!!
Anyway here's the thing one Saturday morning my Grandad was getting the milk when he shouts "Loo-knee come here quick!!" I stood there riveted to the spot.. the pigeon was honestly walking up the garden path...:o :o
You just couldn't make it up could ya..

Are you sure he has not got his paw caught trying to remove the bell? As a child that's what my cat did.It was funny watching him 'tripod' across the garden.
