I envy yous'e. Wish i could have another poochie but lifestyle prohibits doing it properly so no go.
It'd be another spaniel if i could though. Guy. :(

Can just imagine you with the liver and white copilot giving it large to the greater masses when on the m'ways.....   ;D
That'd be us B. Sadly times change. Even if the pooch travelled well many large companies, docks/container terminals don't allow pets... Felixstowe on monday...so it's prohibitive nowadays.  Shame. ::)

Now that is a shame.....  Elf and Softy taking a stance or more serious, as in customs and immigration?

Wonder how the world managed to still revolve back in the 40's/50's/60's or, dare I say it, the 70's and 80's??

There will be a day when you and your true hound will be united matey.....   :y
Bout a dozen years ago there were certain sites I couldn't take the young Gnome in with me so he used to sit in the security lodge and annoy them till I got tipped.
They must have regarded small boys as explosive or something. ;D
No gate lodge nowadays John, You just don't get in.
God help me if i got a spaniel & put a turban on the bearded little tinker. I'd probably get shot walking to the car!

It was airside at Teeside airport I was dropping to.
Normal drop was to a unit but for some reason they wanted the load to go airside on the one occasion that I had the cab rat with me. ;D

Sorry to hijack the thread a little, lol! Those of you with older dogs who are getting a little stiff in their old age, I had that when I had my Alsation, Sam. The vet gave me 7 pills, £7 each! One a day for Sam, but the knocked him out and didnt really seem to help with his back legs. So went to the chemists and had a talk with them. Turns out all his symptoms were roughly the same as a human would have so  the treatment needed was Rhus Tox and dosage as per label. Gave Sam 2 at around 5pm that night then another two at around 9pm. The next day he was actually walking putting weight on the leg he would normaly limp with. Carried on that day with the pills and within 2 days his limp was gone! If he ever felt the need for one he would come to me, nudge me then look straight at the bottle lol! And we think were the clever ones lol! Carried on with the Rhus tox for 4 years until he died in my arms aged 12, never once did he limp in that time so mabye worth a try for others.
