Did some work on my 2.2 couple of weeks ago. Plastic piece snapped in the steering column and causing a clicking sound when steering, and the occasional jamming of the steering, which isn't a good thing

So thought I'd sort it out. Well followed the rules to get the steering wheel off and to stop the air bag going off.

Bag & wheel back on, then couldn't work out why the damn airbag light was showing on the dash, etc.

Got Wellung to come across with his kit to see if he could work it out?.

Well didn't take him long to find out the problem.

Numpty me had forgotten to plug the socket back in on the back of the steering squib. Lee advised to always double check before putting things back together
