A comment.

The day he died I did a search on him to see what happened, a certain gutter press toilet paper rag named after the nearest star claimed drink binges choking on vomit ect. >:( >:( >:( >:(

It come out as heart attack.

Can his family sue that gutter press for defamation

I will mention I never click on links to the paper with the same name as a computer manufacturer - this was in search results.

Quote
Peter Green gave the guitar to Gary Moore after a particularly hard drink and drugs session, saying "you'd better have this, don't think I can play it much longer......."

Gary agreed to just "look after it until he asked for it back", but unfortunately Peter died later that year, and "Blues for Greenie" was  released soon after with a promise to keep it played.

The Gibson Les Paul sunburst guitar has been refurbished several times and refretted twice, but still would fetch over £125k should it ever go on sale because of its provenance (history).

Gary's family want it to go on permanent display somewhere, so sale is unlikely. His Fender Stratocaster and many of his other guitars will probably be sold though.....................form an orderly queue behind me, I would like to add it to my own burgeoning collection along with my signed guitar from Aerosmith, and my signed Carlos Santana PRS guitar.
I've got so many now that they are spread around 3 houses!!! ;D

Thiunk your wrong about Pete Green being dead mate, his head may still be slightly mashed but aliving and kicking and playing again :y

DOH!!!

I missed out the vital word "NEARLY"........

It should have read "Peter NEARLY died later that year"

Serve me right for not reading back my post before I pressed the "post " button.

Thanks for pointing that out fellers, feel a bit of a numpty now.

Been testing a newly-repaired valve amp on some of his tunes this morning. RIP indeed. :'(
