Morning every time i turn on my computer i get this..
c:\windows\k3detfm.dll could anybody please tell me what it is and how to fix it..

Normally, if you go to Microsoft Support, and search it, you will be able to d/l the file and install it, if it is missing or corrupted.
If its only just come up, try a system restore back a few days :y
Is the DLL as in your OP, as I searched Microsoft  and it does not show ;) nor is it on my comp (XP)
