Lost my iPhone last night, The thing that is really pissing me off is the fact I was on a Cross Channel ferry from France in a private lounge, and I left the phone sitting on the chair next to my chair and I had only just used it to check in on Facebook, I was one of the last to leave the private lounge and the only people that where in the lounge during the journey where people travelling with me, I only walked 100m, 30 secs max when I realised so I ran back to the lounge and the only person in the lounge was the polish cleaner who said he had not seen it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did think about it!!!
I phoned the service provider straight away and the phone is now blocked, so I think the phone is now useless to anyone anyway, but its justed the inconvience factor!!

 Good move, Im almost certian too that its about as much use as a hole in the bottom of a bucket even with the sim changed/chiped

All android phone users should consider having this little app installed. My son (in australia) put me onto it when his phone was stolen. It actually works.. much to my amazement !! (although it can't do magic .. like track the phone if inside a building/turned off/etc etc)

His stolen phone was tracked around Melbourne, until it was switched off. When it was next switched on it was "bricked" and the replacement easily "sorted" due to the backup on their system.

I have MobileMe installed on my pc and it certainly is most useful. You can plot the phone on an OS map as well as ping it with a loud tone to help if it's in long grass. Also able to brick it yourself as I recall.

Yes they do!!and its not cheap
