I am lookin on Fleebay for an update disc for my sat nav.... 1998 with A Carin Satnav.....
But which is the correct disc and are they any good when you get them???
Does the update give you the Post Code option or do you still need to put in the Road etc???

Ditch the Carin and use a Tom Tom. Carin in the Omega is, erm, crap. :(

Ive got a 2006 disc which you can try tomorrow and TBH it is poo ::)

The updated Carin disc will do postcode search for the first 5 letters. Which is better than the Siemens system fitted in the updated Omegas, which doesn't do postcode at all :-(

And i would have thought that the newer Meegas would have had the Post Code option..... :-?

If you have one of the newer discs, just enter a postcode in the town menu,  after about 5 letters/numbers you'll get a list of all the towns/districts associated with that postcode.
