So did I Terbert, but really it isn't so mad, I think!! :D :D

You can just imagine some prat on a motorbike or very small vehicle (Smartcar?) using the space if the yellow lines were not there ::) ::) ::)    It would have been better though to put yellow hatching down across the whole space! :D :D :D :D :D ;)

If some prat on a motorbike or tiny little car were to park there, what harm would they be doing ? :-/

No, seriously they would end up parked in a way that would stop anyone getting into their car either side I suppose :D :D ;)
