More powers to the EU
« on: 30 March 2011, 20:28:21 »

According to EU Document 18066/10, which passes before the Commons today, the process by which the UK government sets its budget is now part of a wider process overseen by the European Commission.  Tax and spend decisions within "all member states", even the non-Eurozone ones, are now subject to EU oversight.

We're being led like sheep towards an undemocratoc EU superstate. With this rotten government there's no debate and no questions are permitted.

Once democracy is taken away, you cannot oust any mandarins. We are rapidly being taken down a dark alley. Whilst we may be poles apart politically, I sense that, like I, you value democracy above all else.  :y

UPDATE:
I've just found out that our net contribution to the EU has grown from £5.3 billion in 2009 to £9.2 billion in 2010. 74% in just one year.  :o :o :o

So we are paying an absolute fortune to be ruled by people who are not answerable to us. Still at least we have Dave and Vague to protect after our interests sell us out.... >:( >:( >:(

In all honesty, Steve, I now loathe Cameron and Crew as much as I hated Brown et al, and as much as I would hate Millipeded (God forbid). They're all career politicians who value their career path above all else - never mind the country.  >:(

All part of the NWO plan instigated by the Bilderbergs, & as there are plenty of members in our parliament (Clarke, Osborne, Clegg etc) this is why our government will do nothing to stop it. >:( >:(

Im not sure about the Bilderberg thing, but it does seem strange that whatever colour of political persuasion the governing party is, and whatever promises they make before they are elected, they seem to take a very similar direction as each other.
We need to get out of the EU now - but I dont see how we can, because they simply wont let us have a say. >:( >:(

I agree entirely Albs!

The way this country is run at the moment, it's more akin to a dictatorship than a democracy - but yet they send forces into Lybia to stop exactly what is happening over here!!!  >:(  >:(

He needs to go and work for Brighton Council!!!!!!!!!!!! They are potty too >:(

And to top it all, they are still whinging about their expenses. >:(
And....if thats not bad enough, have you seen EU expenses ;)

Reminds me of a comment often made about a 'person of influence' during the dark years of the (latest) Northern Ireland conflict, "I have no education - just a lot of power"

It was entirely accurate; he did indeed - as a result of his leadership of a certain group the country was all but brought to a standstill more than once.
