'course it costs £700,000 - somehow I don't think it'll be volume manufacturing  ;D

[edit] Wait, if I RTFA they're making 250 of them so yeah.. low volume.

I watched the press release this morning, looked very impressive.

The figures are amazing, 0-186mph faster than a veyron and produces less than 99g/km CO2.

It'll have gas turbines which should be able to run on pretty much any fuel in addition to powerful electric batteries at each wheel.

Jaguar have been on a roll recently.

I saw the articles on it when they took it to the motor show (Paris, IIRC?) - didn't think they'd ever actually say they were going to make it, though!

Sadly not. At least, not to start with. Initial production will feature a ‘highly-boosted' four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, though the jets may come later.

Great car, though!  :y
